You know we love a house with more than one kitty. But this week we’ve been spoilt and got talking to Angela and her 4 cats (!) Luffy, Aurora ,Dyonisous and Gremilin about living their best lives together in North Wales.
So what’s the story, how did you end up with so many kitties?
Luffy and Aurora are both rescue cats, and then Dyonisous and Gremilin came back from China with my daughter so quite the journey! Luffy and Aurora are black and white but we’re not too sure of their ages, we think they’re both around 10. Dyonisous is a Siamese and Gremilin is a Sphinx and they are both 4. It’s a varied family of all shapes and sizes, we love them all!
And with that many floofs, surely there must be some nicknames?
To be honest we mostly just shorten their names to make life easier, although Gremilin does often go by Sir Stinky Buttface, for obvious reasons.
So with a house full, how do your Saturday mornings look?
Well with that many mouths to feed, there’s no dilly dallying. First things first we get up and make sure everyone’s fed and then it’s back to bed for some morning snuggles. To be honest it’s what I most look forward to at the weekend.
And do you have an anthem to with your Saturday mornings?
Actually no. I live by a stream, so the sound of the stream running and nature is the best music for me!
Ahh that sounds dreamy. If you were going to treat yourself, or the cats, what would be the go to at the weekends?
Well a nice easy one for them would be catnip, all four of them absolutely love the stuff. For me it would either be lots of reading, or baking, or both! My favourite things to do.
As an official cat person, what is the coolest cat person thing you own?
Well less of a thing, more of an entire space – we do in fact have a cat themed bathroom…
Now that we HAVE to see. We’re jealous. So being a cat mum of four, do you think they live life to any sort of schedule?
Not them so much, they do as they please but they definitely all believe that I am here to serve them and them only – typical cats!
Haha of course, we live to serve our favourite felines. One last question, are there any sneaky snacks you feed the gang that you maybe shouldn’t?
Oh they certainly have a favourite treat – butter.
