This weekend it was time to sit down with Dimitris and learn all about their Saturday morning with their \u2018amazing little devil\u2019<\/em> Diego.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Describe the amazing Diego to us and how you came to meet.<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Diego is a 4-year-old Domestic Shorthair. I saw him on a Facebook post from a local nursery actually, and immediately fell in love with his eyes. And now he lives with me in Greenwich whilst I work from home as a software developer. We get to spend lots of time together. Sometimes I call him Tractor, cos it\u2019s exactly how he sounds when he purrs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ahh, so you really get to be a full-time cat parent! How do your Saturday mornings together look, after a week full of working from home?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I usually get to wake up to the most wonderful meows as Diego gets hungry. He usually comes to bed and tries to wake us up so we can play. I love the weekends as I get to spend that bit of extra time with him, as well as making time to do some house chores and get organised.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you were treating yourself or Diego over the weekend, what would you choose?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

For me, it\u2019s always brunch with friends. The perfect weekend treat, good food and coffee. For Diego, usually I will get him a new cat toy if it\u2019s his turn for a treat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sounds like you two really are besties. Have you always been such a cat person?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I liked cats when I was young but always preferred dogs. When I actually did some cat sitting for a friend of mine, I realised just how wonderful cats are and how much I love how silly they can be. Strange little creatures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now you have your very own feline, have you noticed Diego lives by any sort of routine?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Eat – Sleep – Repeat. That\u2019s literally it!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A typical cat, we love it. Are they any sneaky snacks Diego gets to enjoy that he maybe shouldn\u2019t?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Sometimes on a rare occasion he gets a little bit of cheese.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He sounds like he\u2019s living the life. Do you have any other cool cat-person things in your home?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Oh, he certainly is. He has four cat trees all to himself! They\u2019re probably the most obvious cat person things I own, he\u2019s spoiled for choice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Oh wow, Diego\u2019s got it good. Despite that, is there anything he truly hates with a passion?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Collars – he won\u2019t have any of it, he\u2019s a free man.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
